About Me
Florist and Teacher
My name is Judith and I have enjoyed many years experiencing the floristry trade. I trained at The Welsh College of Agriculture and Horticulture in North Wales. I then stayed on as an employee of the college helping to run the on site florist shop, Celyn Florist, where I began to get the taste for teaching.
Whilst raising my family and quite a few moves around the country, I settled in Kent and began working in the floristry department at Hadlow Horticulture College, near Tonbridge. During this time I took my teaching qualification and had many happy years teaching floristry at all levels, making lots of friends in the industry and creating very happy memories.
Moving to Bollington, Cheshire where I have lived for 23years, I am now coming up for retirement (semi!) as I can't imagine not being among flowers!
My family, over the years, have supported and helped me, particularly when I started up The Loose Leaf, but they have moved to pastures new (occasionally I have to call on them!) and a new chapter is starting.
